Brad Surette is the Owner/Founder of the SMART Healing Centre and oversees all operations. In 2006, Brad answered his calling, quit his full-time government position, moved from Cape Breton to Halifax and pursued his dreams of becoming a paramedical health care practitioner. He has been a Registered Massage Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Usui Reiki Master/Teacher since 2008. In 2017, Brad became one of the first Certified RAPID Neurofascial Reset Specialists in Canada. With a desire for even more continued learning Brad went back to school to pursue a 3 year diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Brad is a Registered Acupuncturist. Because of his extensive background, knowledge, and experience Brad is able to offer a wide range of treatments, workshops and training to the general public. No matter which service Brad is providing, his goal is always the same – to help others achieve balance in life by focusing on the integration of the body, mind, and spirit.

Amber Skahl’s experience using holistic modalities to heal her own chronic illness compelled her to leave a profession in finance and business. In 2020, Amber pursued a diploma from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Amber Skahl, R.Ac. excels at creating a safe space for anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, back pain, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and other often misunderstood conditions. She supports and encourages her patients to heal and grow at their own pace and is dedicated to improving quality of life in a natural, specific, and meaningful way to you. Amber is currently accepting new patients and will also be sharing her knowledge and experience of balancing the body, mind and spirit by inviting you to her regular community acupuncture sessions.
